Tarot & Trusting Your Own Voice
If you’ve been wanting to get into tarot but don’t know where to start, I promise it’s not as intimidating as it looks! For me, tarot became less about “answers” and more about reconnecting with myself; especially as a woman learning to trust her own intuition again.
The first step is honestly just choosing a deck that feels like you. Don’t overthink it. If the art makes you feel something or the energy feels warm, that’s your sign. After that, start simple. Find a spread you like or pull one card and ask about anything you’d like clarity on.
You don’t need to memorize every meaning right away. Read the guidebook, sit with the imagery, notice what emotions or memories come up. Half of tarot is learning the symbolism… and the other half is learning to listen to yourself. I still read my book for every reading!
And that’s the real magic of it tarot teaches you to trust your own voice. As women, we’re so used to being talked over, doubting ourselves, or feeling like our intuition isn’t “logical enough.” But tarot reminds you that your inner knowing is actually one of our strongest gifts.
So take your time, breathe, shuffle slowly. Let tarot be a soft space where you can explore your spirituality without rules or pressure. It’s just you, your cards, and the quiet truths.
