I, Shaira Gustilo, started AuraMagaziine entirely on my own built from scratch with nothing but raw ideas, years of hands-on creative experience, inspiration from publications like Dreamworld Zine, and a clear vision for something greater. I’ve been behind the camera since I was 13, growing my eye, my style, and my discipline long before Aura existed. That journey eventually led to Sugarfilm.byshai, my photography platform, where I’ve continued to develop my craft and work closely with creatives.
For the first three months of Aura, I navigated every part of the magazine solo: photography, editing, design, outreach, and everything in between. Over time, I realized that for Aura to truly grow and evolve, it needed more than just me, it needed extra hands, fresh perspectives, and a team that genuinely believes in the vision. That’s when I brought in some of the most creative and kind-hearted girls I know. women who embody Aura’s values and represent the heart of the brand. They don’t just contribute their talents; they serve as the kind of role models I once wished I had.

I’m Bianca, Aura’s Toronto-based graphic designer. With a love for creativity and self-expression, I create pieces that are bold, loud, and full of personality. I joined Aura because of their brand’s emphasis on individuality and empowerment; traits that I embody and appreciate personally and through my work. I always design with intention, and dedicating myself into a publication like Aura is why I do what I do.

Hi I’m Destiny, Head of Editorial at Aura Magaziine and the voice behind The Fine Print. I work closely with our writing and blog content, shaping the stories we tell and how they come together. I’m especially drawn to writing that feels honest, intentional, and hard to ignore.

Hi I’m Hanna, 22 years old and originally from the Seattle area. I help behind the scenes of AuraMagaziine from photoshoots to events. I love seeing the creative process from our team and ultimately helping bring our audiences stories to life.
