ABOUT AURA

I, Shaira Gustilo, started Aura Magazine
entirely on my own, crafted from scratch with
nothing but raw ideas, inspiration from
amazing publications like Dreamworld Zine,
and a clear vision for something greater. For
the first three months, I navigated every part
of Aura solo: photography, editing, design,
outreach, and everything in between. Eventually,

I realized that for this magazine to
grow and evolve, it needed more than just me.
It needed extra hands, fresh perspectives, and a
team that truly believes in what Aura stands
for. So I brought in some of the most creative
and kind-hearted girls I know, women who
embody the values of Aura and represent the
heart of this brand. Not only do they
contribute their talents, but they also serve as
the kind of role models I dreamed of

    Hi i’m Hanna! I’m originally from Seattle but moved to Spokane about 2 years ago. I joined aura as i was inspired by my best friend who founded it and seeing all of the creative talented women in the area. I help scout models, help with photo shoots and overall help support our beautiful visions!

    I joined Aura because I’m passionate about creativity, community, and self-expression. I love being part of a space where individuality is celebrated and where I can help contribute to a welcoming, stylish atmosphere. I help with concept designs and photoshoots, bringing ideas to life visually and creatively. Whether it’s curating a vibe or building something from scratch, I’m here to add my energy and eye for detail to everything we do.

    Hi! I’m Leia, I’m 22 and absolutely obsessed with fashion, especially when it comes to thrifting and finding unique pieces that tell a story. I’ve always been drawn to creativity and self-expression, which naturally led me to Aura. I joined because I love being part of a platform that uplifts bold, underrepresented voices and celebrates individuality. I also have a background in social media, including running one of the Barstool accounts for my college, so I’m excited to bring that experience to the table, helping Aura grow while staying true to its vision.

    Hi, My name is Tianna! The reason I joined the Aura team was because I seen the vision and message behind Aura and as a striving artist, I immediately wanted to support that. An opportunity opened up to join the team as a second photographer so I jumped on board right away. I’m so happy to be apart of such an amazing project, helping the vision come to life and to be surrounded by a group of so many talented people!
